Ice glaze in the morning.
Snow started to the north.
Most schools in the area were out by 1:00 P.M.
Anyone tired of this screwy weather?
#raiseshand
I’ll start seeds for my garden this weekend and hopefully this will stop the Sprinter, winter and spring! 🙂

Here in IN we had snow on Easter, which melted the next day when we had a sunny afternoon, today we woke to thunder, lightning, rain and flooding, tornado watch tonight.. and snow showers and temps in the teens predicted as the week continues…

Yikes! If I had a choice between a good blizzard and thunderstorm, I’d choose the blizzard most of the time. We had a tornado (what the weather people said) pass within a mile our house last year. Lots of damage around us, but nothing where we live. Nope, give me a good snow storm any day of the week! 🙂

Murphy’s Law might argue that seed planting will have the opposite meteorological effect of what you intend. (I’ll cross my fingers and hope otherwise on your behalf…)

😀 My hope is that we’ve had “three snows on a robin’s tail” so the weather should be done. This, in my opinion, should cement things, but I’ve been wrong before!

I walked by a bulletin board with snow man looking toward the sky and thought is this somehow calling the snow. Sick of it.

Sick of it, indeed! 🙂

I’m grateful we have not had the snowfall that you and the east coast has had. But I’m raising my hand for winter to leave. #gohomewinter

Agreed! I love winter, but I’m when the high temperature is 25 degrees below the average, I think I’m ready for a little bit of springtime! 🙂

I imagine y’all are tired of Ole Man Winter! Do you grow spices like basil and dill? Do you grow jalapenos? Gardening is fun. I enjoyed ‘container gardening’ the past couple of summers. Easy! haha

My wife thinks container gardening would be easier than what we do! 🙂 We do grow all that and more. I’m trying to figure out a system to keep basil, oregano, and a few other spices alive during the winter months. This year was almost successful with rosemary and lavender surviving. We’ll see what happens this summer, which determines how much room I’ll have this winter! 🙂

This is the winter that won’t quit! It’s definitely been depressing to keep thinking Spring is on the way….followed by another snowstorm. Your temperatures sound wicked! Kudos to you for your gardening efforts. I stick to late spring/summer gardening. Even that’s not so easy. Your winter poem says it all.
