Some days you just have to stop and take a picture. This was one of those days. It was ridiculously cold and the sun and her dogs were just perfectly set up. It was a beautiful shot and yes, those are frogs on my dashboard! Blame my father! 🙂
Some days, it’s good to be a little bit late when Mother Nature puts on a display like this one.
Some days, it’s good to take that time to just be.
Because someday, there won’t be any more days like this and you’ll wonder, why didn’t I stop?

So very true. Just stopping to take in the moment is SO important – and that mindfulness is really needed, I think!

Some would say that taking the picture ruins the moment. Not me. It makes me realize just how little effort it took to be right there and enjoy the beauty in front of me. 🙂

Absolutely beautiful. I love days like this, where we are preoccupied with one thing or another, rushing around our small and busy lives, and then you get a view that just…STOPS YOU in your tracks. Thank you for sharing this post.

Yup. Stopped the truck, took the picture, and moved on, happy that I spent the 30 second to be in the moment. That’s all it takes, allowing ourselves that break to be there. 🙂
