Not much to this slice today. We just got home after a 500 mile trek that took us from our home to Iowa City to Ames and back again. University of Iowa daughter picked up, shown Iowa State, shown Ames, listened to ISU daughter sing, and made the trip back home.
Great time with our daughters. An informative trip, one filled with promise and hope.
But now, we are tired.
Tomorrow is a new day and a better slice than this one.
Tomorrow, we’ll do better.

Thursday I was feeling tired too. No energy to post and I remembered the hashtag I saw on a fellow slicer’s Twitter post. It was simply #processoverproduct Seeing these three words reminded me that some days, it’s just about posting. It’s just about writing. It doesn’t have to be anything more than that. Know you’re not alone and that writing is enough.
