This will probably be my shortest blog, so pay attention! 🙂

 

We got word that our Iowa Assessment scores were back today. Yippee (please note the extreme sarcasm here).

 

Every time I try to write about this, it comes out either angry, whiney, or just plain sad, so I’ve deleted all of it.  Just as I’m about to give up on this topic completely, the email gods smile down upon me.

 

I’m going to leave you with this YouTube video from McCombs Middle School in Des Moines.  They’ve taken the song “Thrift Shop” and turned it into something awesome positive about their assessment.

 

It made me smile, and right now, that’s pretty good!
