Today’s has just been a dreary day.
It started with the fact I feel twice my age right now. I had the second vaccine yesterday, and while I’ve not felt like my wife did, I feel very achy and even with some pain reliever, my arm hurts.

True. The weather is not helping. It’s rainy, cold, and yucky outside, which just accents my body feelings quite well.
And, I’m in a Zoom call with our state association’s delegate assembly of which I am a part of this year. It’s a virtual meeting and it’s been a bit of a struggle staying focused! The politics of education are interesting, but it’s been a tad herky jerky as the technology gets in the way.
I wish I could take a nap.

It’s Saturday – a day made for naps when you are feeling under the weather. I’m reading about lots of people who feel yucky for a few days after the second dose. When I am finally able to have mine I’m going to book a few days off after!

And it wasn’t even that I felt bad, it was I felt off, which sometimes is worse. However, I spent two weeks dreading this and it really never came to fruition, so it’s ok! 🙂
However, I’d book the days off all the same! 😉

It was one of the deary days here in Wisconsin, too, Darin! My husband and I had our first shot on Thursday. I’ve heard the second is worse for side effects. If you could have only “skipped” the zoom meeting, maybe you could have just read a book and relaxed. I hope you feel better tomorrow!

I would have liked to have done that, it was our state teacher’s union delegate assembly. But, I got out of the house and didn’t feel bad, so all is not lost! 🙂

Sorry, Darin. I wasn’t passing judegment and after I thought about what I wrote I felt bad….I am a rule follower and highly obligated person who would never encourage someone to shirk their duties. I’m glad you got out of the house and made the best of it. Again, my apoligies for encouraging deliquency! Carry on!
