No negative thoughts.  No mention of them as I have a beautiful wife, daughters, a solid job, solid home, and so many other things in my favor right now.

My happy thought for the day: Halloween!

Yup, as a teacher, I love Halloween! I love the sugar highs, the dorky costumes, the food kids bring in, the energy and excitement that the students have, all of it.

Today, I was here at 7:00 a.m.  to finish up some grading and by 7:30, I had students coming in to decorate.  That’s how we run our parties, by committee: decorations, food, and entertainment.  They plan, create, and execute the party.  Some years, our parties rock.  Some years, they are duds.  However, I’m there are the figure head, the students are the ones in control, the way it should be.

So, if I seem frazzled today, it’s Halloween, but it’s a good frazzling for certain! 🙂
