I’ve lived a very full life for 53 years.
I’ve done a little traveling. I’ve experienced some pretty awesome things around me.
I’ve met some cool people. I’ve met some real idiots too.
I truly have few regrets. My kids are grown and doing well. My wife is more beautiful than ever. I am in relatively good health, considering I love food and don’t spend the time I need to keep myself in shape.
So would I want to relive any part of my life? I’m not sure.
I’d love to go back to certain experiences:
- The first time I kissed my wife.
- Seeing both my children born.
- My first time seeing the Grand Canyon.
- That first taste of homemade mead when we lived in Missouri.
- The time when we get ridiculously drunk at the Wisconsin Dells and in a bar until well past closing time.
There are many experiences like those that I’d love to go back and feel again. But to say an age or year of life? Probably not. There are too many things that I’d rather NOT experience again, simply because I was always the shy, awkward kid who read too much and didn’t get out enough.
And yourself? Are you interested in traveling back to an age or year of your life to re-live? Let me know in the comment section below! 🙂

What…no hash tags today? 🙂 Thought provoking story, but I’m with you…I’d love to relive a few awesome experiences but a huge chunk of time…nope!

I’m a move onward type soul. I wear my regrets like proud badges, and I hope I’ve learned from them mostly, but I’ve moved on.
